Gerard J. LoVerde has been practicing accounting since 1979, after being awarded a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from St. Johns University. After graduation Mr. LoVerde joined National Grid’s internal auditing staff where he worked closely with the company’s independent auditors. There he honed his auditing and financial statement preparation skills. After leaving National Grid, he entered the public accounting arena. In 1999 Mr. LoVerde joined Bruno Cicero and LoVerde as a partner. His areas of expertise include all areas of taxation, auditing and financial statement preparation, with an emphasis on construction accounting. Mr. LoVerde is an active member of the community. In the past he served on the boards of various organizations including Angel Guardian Children's Services, The Great Kills Little League and the Staten Island Lighting Basketball Club. Mr. LoVerde is a member and former president of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Staten Island Chapter. He serves on board of directors of that chapter and currently serves on the board of the Staten Island Business Friends.
